Diamond ArrowCarbondale, Colorado
“Great property. Hooked into a good number of 16-18in Browns and Rainbows in the riffles. Great property, landowner was friendly and helpful.”
Enjoy 1 mile of the Colorado River with runs that dump into deep pools holding large brown trout. The best fishing is near the confluence where the creek meets the river. This property provides stunning red cliff views that include two pairs of nesting bald eagles. Fish range in the 12-22″ range. The walking access is fairly easy for younger anglers and people with mobility issues. There are some willows near the riverbank but they’re not difficult to navigate.

October 9, 2023 at 9:56 amA gorgeous stretch of the Colorado! We caught many fish, browns and rainbows both. Nothing that was noteworthy large, but a great average size. There was more water to fish on this property than we anticipated with the side channel, lower creek and main river. It was a beautiful day on the lower Colorado! Thank you Rarewaters Team!

September 28, 2023 at 1:27 pmThanks for your review, Maria. With the changing of seasons and weather we are seeing a bit different behavior from the fish as they adapt to cooler temps in the morning and warmer temps in the afternoon. This may have affected the fishing that day.
