“Great property. Hooked into a good number of 16-18in Browns and Rainbows in the riffles. Great property, landowner was friendly and helpful.”

Access 1 mile of the Colorado River on a very secluded family ranch. Fish size averages 10-16″ with the occasional 18″ or larger trout. The lucky angler will hook up with the elusive Colorado River cutthroat!! Your views will include a cliffside with Gordon the Golden Eagle cruising around looking for lunch. There are two islands on the downstream side of the property that in low waters, are accessible. Getting down to the lower section of the river is steep. We recommend younger anglers and people with mobility issues stay on the upper section of the property. Camping is available.
Although we typically get your booking approved within a few hours, please allow up to 1 business day for booking confirmations.

December 6, 2021 at 3:57 pmBeautiful day, property and water. We knew fishing would be tough as water temp had dropped below 40 and this was more of a scouting trip. We were greeted by a big Baldy on arrival. Headed down the RR tracks to the lower section first. Not easy to get down to the water as stated in the property description. Lower section had plenty of nice pockets and runs to work. Upper section was hit after lunch. Plenty of fishy water as well. We will be back and such a pleasure to prospect this lovely section of The Colorado River. Restore the Headwaters! Tight lines to all.

September 27, 2021 at 5:46 pmGreat location for fall fly fishing. Browns were feisty and feeding on the surface. I’d say we caught 10-12 fish. Most were 12-14″ in length. Will book again!!

August 5, 2020 at 4:11 pmJust a short drive away from all the commotion of the ski villages. A winding road takes you to a small fishing/camping ranch with over a mile of the Colorado River. The property has three great stretches of river that has deep pools and wide eddy’s. Being easily wadeable, having wide casting space we consistently pulled out native brown trout. The Colorado river on this propery in late July allowed for some great dry fly, dry dropper and nymphing action. This property has good pockets and deep runs to hold big fish. The property also allows camping which is a plus because the views are incredible!
