Overview

Access over 1 mile of the Colorado River downstream of Lake Granby. This ranch is an active cattle operation so please mind the ranchers and livestock. Anglers can expect to catch brown and rainbow trout in the 12-18″ range. We recommend spending most of your time near the downstream section of the property. The ranch offers exception scenery and is only 10 minutes from downtown Granby. Access to the river is by foot but the short walk is simple and doable for people of all ages.

Please allow up to 2 business days for booking confirmations.

Due to livestock and other concerns, dogs and other pets are NOT permitted on this property.

Water was 72CFS and dirty because of Willow Creek runoff just upstream from the property. Visibility about a foot so tough to see structure. Fished about 4 hours. Threw dark streamers in tail outs. Caught 7. 3, 14″ – 16″ and 4, 18″ – 21″. Can only imagine what it’s like when water clears and there’s a hatch of some kind. Only bugs were pseudos. Smaller than 26# Got the only sipper on a small black beetle. Host is very friendly. Easy walk to river through a pasture.

Perfect location and privacy. Owners were friendly and set up the spot for a perfect day. Got into some great action of both browns and rainbows.

My wife and I had an amazing day at this property over Memorial Day weekend. Flows were just over 100cfs and it rained the night before and the day of so the water was slightly off color but we we’re still able to sight fish all but the deepest holes. I’d say these flows are spot on for this stretch. We picked up quite a few fish over 4 hours before the hail and thunderstorms rolled in. Average was maybe 14-16 inches but we did manage two streamer eats that were over 20”. All in all, this is a great property with friendly landowners, easy access and tons of great water.
