September 26, 2023 at 4:25 pmDiamond Arrow has literally one of the picturesque campsites on the water with darn good fishing both upstream and downstream from Camp.
Helpful Review 1It has a few chairs, fire ring, table and even a bbq for the whole family to enjoy. I quickly landed a solid 18” rainbow on A streamer and a number of smaller trout on nymphs. The property has a bunch of older broken down cars (working ranch vibes) but once through the gate the property and camp is stunning and secluded. Not to mention it’s literally 5 min from town. I will be back again.

September 25, 2023 at 4:33 pmGreat section of the Roaring Fork to fish. Nice deep pool holds tons of fish near the western boundary of the property. Then I found big and eager fish in the shallow water upstream. Didn’t get a chance to fish the entire stretch of river since the lower part was serving up consistent big fish which kept me busy. Saved 30 minutes at the end of the day for the pond and had a blast hooking into big fish on a hopper dropper. The owner was very nice and the property is easy to navigate. Will be back to bring friends and hit the stretch of river I didn’t get to the first time. Great property!

July 21, 2023 at 6:42 pmWe fished this property on July 15th and had a great time. Met with the caretaker of the property and he directed us to the best spot to park the trailer. Right next to the river- perfect – and great location to start and end a day…..
Helpful ReviewAs for the fishing – the river was still running high (so no crossing it at this time) however it was gin clear which made it pretty sweet to throw drys mid day. Started the morning with nymphs ( did real well in the deep holes which are all along the property side of the river – then shifted to drys in the rifles in the after noon ( did extremely well ) pretty sweet set of rifles up river a little and stuck with the drys rest of day.
Fish were in the 12 to 18 range and good fighters.
We had a great time – caught a lot of fish – did not fish the ponds cause it was pretty hot – however there are some bruise in there –
We will return to this property because owners and caretaker are great, river is a solid place to fish – and I believe once the river comes down its going to be terrific..
