“Great property. Hooked into a good number of 16-18in Browns and Rainbows in the riffles. Great property, landowner was friendly and helpful.”

Come check out the breathtaking vistas in Northern California on the Middle Fork of the Feather River. This property boasts 1 mile on the Middle Fork of the Feather River, 1 mile on Poplar Creek, and 4 stocked ponds that fish lights out. The Middle Fork of the Feather River was one of the first nationally designated wild and scenic rivers. You will find Brown and Rainbow Trout on this property. If you want some easy fishing then hit the ponds, looking for a challenge then Poplar Creek is where it is at. The creek definitely has fish in it, but it is tight and narrow. This property is great for the whole family, the access is easy and the river is scenic.

Most of our properties are ranches, so expect to walk through hayfields, cow fields, or even hop a few fences. These are not "groomed" properties. They can be rugged and wild and we believe that is part of the adventure with RareWaters! If you have specific questions or concerns, please reach out in advance of booking a trip!

August 22, 2023 at 11:26 pmThe Feather River Property is simply exquisite. Accommodations are beyond superb with lodging on the water. The drive out is part of the adventure as it’s a ways from town, but we were looking for a remote spot to fish. I arrived when the river was a touch high but was still productive with a few trout to the net. This place has a ton of fishing potential and can’t wait to visit again.
