Terrific spot for a camp and fish. Hospitality was amazing. Host was ready and attentive. Site was clean and comfortable. Fishing was great – really nice evening bite. Resident bald eagles put on a fish catching show for the ages! Town is close but not intrusive to your camping experience. Zero complaints. Thank you!!!!

I visited this property 9/9 2021. Unfortunately I did not get to meet Had but , Stephen, was very helpful showing me around. He even pointed out specific runs and their names for me. Be sure not to miss “Brown-town”. I only fished about 3 hours and cover the lower half of the river front but netted 8 browns and 2 rainbows. All as advertised 12 – 16 inches. Easy access from a hotel in Carbondale. I will return for sure.

We had an excellent time at this property along the Roaring Fork. Had (the owner) is a great host – he met us when we arrived, gave us a tour of the property, and even treated us to a bottle of champagne later in the day. Lots of open river to fish and the ponds are a fun stop before you end your day. Bring your bug spray for hot + humid days. We look forward to visiting again!

Great camping and fishing trip in mid-July on this RF property through RareWaters! Flows were in the 600-ish range and the fish were eating throughout the property. Streamers in the AM and double caddis dries in the PM. Highly recommend the river couch if you want to cool off after a long hot day.

Great location. Good numbers and size of fish. Really only fished the Roaring Fork river portion of the property. Will return and try to add some of the creek fishing next time. Thanks

Absolutely Amazing!!! We had a fabulous time fishing and camping at this ranch. You couldn’t ask for a better host either. The rivers, creeks, and ponds hold plenty of fish. Do yourself a favor; take the time to camp a day or two if you’re going. We will for sure be back.

Fantastic property with a great host! Good structure all over the property. Couple of 20” and lots of quality fish in the net throughout the day. Already rebooked for the July hatch.

The property is beautiful with 2 ponds, small streams, and a very nice section of the Roaring Fork. There and ducks and horses and chickens to talk to and a very nice doggo too. The fishing was excellent with me and my 2 friends catching 20 or so 16-20 inch rainbow and brown trout in a short day. The host was very friendly and gave us a golf cart tour of the property to start the day and offered us a bottle of champagne by the river midday, though we had to decline as we had to drive back to Denver later that day. Can’t wait to return!

Great time both fishing and enjoying some refreshing Prosecco with host Had. Caught many fish, several in 17-18 inch category, including this 21 incher. Overall, super experience. Will probably return again. Ciao Had ci vediamo ancora.

My wife, Tina, and I fished the Carbondale property for two days. We could not be happier with our decision to make this our 1st property to fish with RareWaters. The landowner was an outstanding host, taking us on a tour of the property first so we knew where we were fishing. Even surprising us with a birthday cake and bottle of Prosecco and a beautifully set picnic table for my 63rd birthday. The fishing on this property was outstanding!! Check out some of the catch. Thank you RareWaters. We will definitely be back!!

This place is special. Everywhere you look gives you a reason to come back, from the crystal clear water of the Roaring Fork to the lively spring creeks stretching across every corner of the property. One thing is for sure, I wish I lived closer. I will be back soon!

Great stretch of water with a variety of spots to explore. My friend had her first fish caught here on the fly so that was a win for us! The fishing is great and simply hanging out by the water along the bank is really nice. Picnic table. Highly recommend.

Amazing private ranch with riverside camping included. Very productive water with lots of large browns and bows. Truly special place and the ranch-owners are very warm and helpful.
